Fall Freebies, Plus ~Lantian~ Website!
Dear ~Lantian~ Friends,
Hello! Just a quick note to let you know that, as usual, we are participating in both the Steam and Twisted Hunts. Both kick off September 1, at midnight SLT, so stop by to get SIX (yes, six!) freebies. This time around, our prizes are a little bit different.
Steam Hunt
For Steam, we are offering a pocket watch that really works. Unlike most clocks in SL, this one has actual hands which move around the dial, rather than rotating textures. And they're sculpted--we made the sculpts specifically for this project.
As always, the script inside is robust but low-lag. Plus, the watch has tick sounds you can control (3 volume levels plus off). The copper version is hidden, but free. There are also Silver, Gold, and Verdigris (green copper) versions for sale.
Lastly, if you'd like to upgrade, there is a "Deluxe" version of each variety, which includes an hourly chime, an alarm, and a Lag-Saver Mode which turns the clock off when no one is around. (Nifty, huh?) Those are available in the New Kiosk and in the Steampunk section.
Twisted Hunt
For the Twisted Hunt, our prize is rather unusual: the Darkness Hud. Since the theme for this round of Twisted is "Darkness," and we associate Darkness with depression, our Darkness Hud will reach out and send messages to random people around you. This one comes with a warning: be careful who you wear it around. The Darkness Hud will say very depressing things. So, to counterbalance that, we are releasing it with a Light Hud (in the same box, no extra cost) which does the opposite. Choose wisely, or you may depress your friends!
Mini-Hunt
For extra variety, we have added a "Mini-Hunt" to the ~Lantian~ Main Store. You are looking for small, dark crystals. There are four. The first three have jewelry which coordinates with the Steam Hunt. The last has a copy of the dark crystal itself, for decorating your grotto, cave, or dark Steampunk area.
New Website
And last but never least, a bit of important news: ~Lantian~ now has a website! http://lantian.us There you can find information about us, our current events and sales, hunt hints, a link to our blog (http://lantianflox.blogspot.com), and product information.
Over the next few weeks we will be adding more documentation, such as the info cards which normally describe how to use our products. There will also be links from the "Products" page to our Main Store in Schazm (http://slurl.com/secondlife/schazm/100/50/500) and the SL Marketplace (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/merchants/98919).
